Literature Text

If roses are red
Then they were once angelic white
Having been painted
By death's bloody aftermath

If violets are blue
I see purple and pink too
Showing skin shades
As you fell to final end

Now, roses are red
Dripped in the blood
Seeping from the cuts
The vines have scarred

Now, violets are blue
Raging around the sores
As life depletes, here
Draining like colorful blood

Are roses still red
If on the inside
The innocence persists
Like a chance?

Are violets still blue
If the shade of skin
Still hints to pale
Like normal complexion?

But roses must be red
For they would match you
And the colors that seep
From my reaching hands

But violets must be blue
For they need to match
The loss of colors in eyes
Carrying maximum death

Yet, roses are white
Like the angel wings
Spreading out far
Never to not live

Yet, violets are pale
Like the tone
Forever to be seen
On blood-blushing cheeks
Inspired by some poems from :iconsapphira-adi: journal. :meow:

I like how you picked a cliché beginning and explored it in such depth.
